This Week’s Adventures: Road Trips, Football, and Family Fun

This past week was such a blessing, filled with little moments that made it special.

We kicked things off with a quick road trip with the hubs for work. Even though it was short, I always enjoy those drives together—it’s a chance to catch up, talk, and just spend some uninterrupted time side by side.

Later in the week, we got to cheer on our grandson at his football game. There’s just something about being in the stands, hearing the crowd, and watching him out on the field giving it his all. We are so proud of him and love getting to be there to support him.

Sunday was the perfect way to wrap up the week. We spent the day by the pool and enjoyed a cookout with family and our church family. The weather couldn’t have been more beautiful—blue skies, sunshine, and that late-summer warmth that makes you want to soak up every moment outside.

All in all, it was one of those weeks that reminded me of how precious time with loved ones is. Simple joys like good conversation, cheering on our grandson, and sharing a meal with family make the days brighter.
