Seasons of Growth, Celebration, and New Beginnings

As this school year comes to a close, our family has been reflecting on just how quickly time moves. It feels like yesterday we were preparing for the first day of school, and now we are celebrating the end of 8th grade, prom memories, graduation milestones, and exciting new opportunities ahead.

This season has been filled with moments we never want to forget.

One of the highlights was watching my daughter finish 8th grade — a huge accomplishment and the closing of an important chapter. Between late-night studying, school events, and growing into the young woman she is becoming, we could not be prouder. Of course, the celebrations included all the traditions that make this time special: prom photos, graduation ceremonies, and spending time with family and friends who have supported him along the way.

We also had the chance to enjoy something completely unforgettable — a Savannah Bananas game! If you have ever been, you already know it is more than baseball. It is entertainment, energy, laughter, and nonstop fun from start to finish. Watching my daughter enjoy every second of it made the experience even better. It reminded us how important it is to slow down and make memories together.

And as if this season was not exciting enough, my oldest son received the incredible honor of being accepted into the Honor Guard. This achievement means so much to our family because it represents leadership, discipline, respect, and commitment. Seeing him step into this role with confidence and maturity has been one of our proudest moments as parents.
